Mosaic and Met Monday...

It's Monday and time to share our photo mosaics
for Mosaic Monday hosted by the wonderful Mary @ Little Red House
Update: I just realized that Mary is taking a little blogging break this week and does not have a Mosaic Monday post up, but if you get a chance visit her blog she posted a Mosaic tutorial last Friday.
and it's also Met Monday hosted by the fabulous Susan @Between Naps On The Porch.

This is not your 'usual' Met Monday post but in my eyes just another great example of a Metamorphosis.

The sister of our very good friends was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and she is currently undergoing chemo.
One of the chemo side effects is the loss of hair.
In support of their loved one, our friends decided to cut off their hair.

They asked me to give them a buzz cut and these are the before...during and after shots.

Our dear friends sister is in our thoughts and prayers.

Please visit our gracious hostess Mary @ Little Red House
for a list of other beautiful mosaics and Susan @Between Naps On The Porch for many more amazing metamorphosis posts.

Tomorrow I'll be hosting 'Three Or More' - Tuesday.
For anyone that does not know about 'Three Or More',
it's a weekly event I host where we share items
that we have three or more of.

This could be a collection,
three pictures of something,
three siblings or more... the possibilities are endless.

If you'd like to participate,
my post will be up Monday July 20th by 9PM
and you can add your 'Three Or More' post through Mr.Linky.
I'm looking forward to all of your entries.

Have a wonderful Monday,

Well this truly is a metamorphosis. I have to say I have started this comment over 3 times. I can't find the words to express the pride (is that the right word?)I feel in being a woman simply because of the way they rally and support one another when the crap hits the fan.
Women rock.

There just aren't the right adjectives to express all of my feelings Tam... You seem to have summed up all of our hope and dedication toward sisterhood in a few outstanding pictures!!

Let your friend be well soon.

How sweet of you to cut your hair!!! I just lost my hair to chemo not so long ago also, I think your friend is so lucky to have you both at her side.

I think Lori said the same thing I feel. One of the things I have tried to instill in my daughter is the importance of having good girl friends--and, of course, you have to BE one to have one. Thanks for reminding me.
