50th Three Or More Tuesday - Kitchen plan

Welcome to the the 50th 'Three Or More' - Tuesday!!!

I wanted to share with you the plan for our kitchen remodel.
Sorry for the bad photo quality, my scanner decided to die on me
and I had to take photos of the drawings.

So, here is what we are getting...the overhead view of the new kitchen.
The remodel will start with all the windows you see here being replaced.

This is a view of most of the cabinets on the 26' wall...

This is the corner that had the corner bench in our old kitchen.
I'm looking forward to the additional counter and cabinet space.

The opposite wall is much shorter because of several doorways.
The cabinet by the door will open from the side and hold our vacuum and
broom and in the top I will store cook books. next to it is a pantry cabinet with pull out
shelves and then the refrigerator and wall oven/micro combo...

Followed by our cooktop with a 3" and 6" pullout on the side,
the cooktop sits at an angle with a thermador downdraft vent behind it.

This will be the view from the living room...
the shape of the counter top will not look like in the drawing.
We'll be working with the contractor on the template on site.
In addition I'm planning on a stacked stone finish on the bar wall.

So that is it. I know it's not perfect because of the long space and
many doorways, but it will be such an improvement from what we have.

My post is up early tonight because I'm still sick
and my bed is calling my name.

Now, what do you have to share for 'Three Or More' Tuesday?

Very nice plan, Tam. I think the quality of the pictures turned out great.

I like that you are combining black & the Toffee Maple glaze. That is going to look so nice. We have a broom closet that I love and you will too. Love everything.

You best stay in bed and get better...you don't want to hang around when they are ripping those windows out. talk about needing a broom!!

Get better!!! :-)

You're kitchen will be wonderful when it's done! I especially like the frig. With the 'barn' doors, you'll be able to fit in those big platters or a large roaster. Good choice!
