I promised last week that I would start moving on to
Spring with my tables.
This past weekend I tried to decide which table
I would put together.
I had several ideas in my head and was not sure
which one to choose.
Problem is that as I get older I forget more
and when I have a brief moment of 'tablescaping genius' (ha-yeah right)
I want to hold on to the idea before I forget.
I've tried post it notes to capture my ideas
but since I'm much more of a visual person the design/photo board
method works better for me.
So, instead of putting a table together I pulled different pieces
for each table from various cabinets throughout the house.
I hope you don't mind the glare in the photos.
Since it's Winter in Western New York and good daylight
is hard to come by I used the counter in front of the
kitchen bay window to take the photos.
.
By the time I had carried all the different pieces there
the sun decided to make a grand appearance and
I was not about to change locations.
So glare it is.

Now let me show you my Spring 'table theme reminders'.
Since St.Patrick's Day is the next Holiday this will be the inspiration
for this years table.

My absolute favorite dish combo for St. Patrick's Day will always be last years table
with my Bordallo cabbage plates but I wanted to at least change it up a little bit this year.

with my Bordallo cabbage plates but I wanted to at least change it up a little bit this year.
Next I could put together the white, black and yellow combination
I love and maybe even use the letter and number balls somehow.

Some cream, white, brown, bees and nests could become another table.

For Easter I will just swap one color.
Last year I went with brown, cream and green so this year
I'll go with brown, pink and cream.

And the idea for Mothers Day combines pastel tones, flowers, bees, beehives and birds.

Wow! I was trying to pick a favorite, but I couldn't because I love them all! Thanks for sharing.
Hard to choose a favorite when they are all so pretty...but I think I like the pink and I love Leprechaun tablescape too...it's elegant and fun!
I loved your tablescapes, and in all honesty your pics don't look bad. So do not worry qbout the glare.
Your photos are beautiful--each one belongs in a magazine. You have the most gorgeous dishes, and I enjoyed seeing how you put them together.

Love all your little vignettes...you have some gorgeous dishes, Tam.
So, so pretty. All of them. I love the clover plates. How darling. Rosie
My favorites are the last two. I couldn't choose between them. I tend more toward the pastels, but I am trying to widen my color world.

Oh Tam, I am wondering about the chargers in the last table that look like glass with a bubble edge? Is that right? They look beautiful and like they are multi colored!!!!! So pretty. I bought the bee glasses at CTS, when you gave us the heads up: Thanks!!!!! Love all these tables, can't seem to pick a favorite!!! XO, Pinky

What beautiful pieces you have! What are the clover plates called? I'd have to choose the green and brown vignette as my favorite...love the cream colored plates...what are they called? ALL the vignettes are lovely.

your dishes are beautiful and your centerpieces are too. I love the way you pair up colors together, very pleasing to the eye. My favorite was the pink.

Yes, my favorite is the cream, white, green, brown, bees and nests one. They are all pretty though.
Oh my goodness. I am just drooling over them all. I love the green table and then the precious pink table with the little tureens just made me drool, and of course I love white. Wow, I really do have to put my thinking cap on. This is all so unreal. Thanks for the inspiration. Hugs, Marty
