Some small touches for guests...

It's Monday, and time to share our photo mosaics
for Mosaic Monday hosted by Mary @ Little Red House
and play along with Susan's Met Monday.

I picked up the new chair for the guestroom last week and this past
weekend we had company.
I like to make our guest feel as comfortable as possible.
I set the towels and some toiletries items on the chair for them.

I also keep a canister on one of the nightstands and fill it with our
visitors favorite candy.

Setting out some light reading material, a pad
of paper and pen, some hand lotion and tissues etc.
are all little touches to make your guests feel welcome.

Please visit our gracious hostess Mary @ Little Red House
and Susan @ Between Naps on the Porch
for other talented Mosaic and Met Monday participants.

Tomorrow I'll be hosting
'Three Or More' - Tuesday.
For anyone that does not know about 'Three Or More',
it's a weekly event where we share items
that we have three or more of.

For 'Three Or More' you could blog
about a collection, three pictures of something,
three siblings or more... the possibilities are endless.

If you'd like to participate,
my post will be up Monday March 8th by 10PM
and you can add your 'Three Or More' post through MckLinky.

Have a wonderful Monday,

Thats a wonderful idea. No one comes to visit overnight but my sister and I think she'd really enjoy that.

You really know how to pamper a guest, Tam! I love the French inspired chair and you have given me some inspiration for my guest rooms. My husband and I were just discussing today if we should keep the bath towels in the guest room or bathroom. I said guest room. I need to show him your post! ;-)

I actually LOVE the KMart one the best! Better than the Ballard or Pottery barn ones! This one has so much style! I think I missed the post on the guest room make over... I tried to find it... but couldn't.

Have a great week...

Like you, I always make sure my guests are comfortable and have everything they might need or want, sugar. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, books, flowers, writing instruments, kleenex, etc. You get the idea. This comes from being caught in a strange house once while visiting and running out of toilet paper in their powder room off their living room. I was at a loss! If I hadn't had some tissues in my pants pocket I truly would have been up the proverbial "creek"! Very humiliating, chickee!

Just beautiful. I love how you provide chocolate AND toothbrushes! Of course you would! What a great idea. I like the whole flair in your pictures. Very nice mosaic by the way.
I felt pampered just looking at the pictures!
Blessings,
Debbie

I got the idea of providing guests with all the little extras and essentilas from Christopher Lowe YEARS ago! Do you remember him? I loved his show! So, I do the same thing. I just love your chair, it is beautiful! Have a great day!!! XO, Pinky
